At Advocacy in Action, our mission is to provide exceptional special education advocacy and behavioral consulting services that are both effective and accessible for families. We are committed to partnering collaboratively with families, schools, and outside service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every student.
With more than 50 years of combined clinical, educational, and administrative experience serving students across a wide range of ages, abilities, and support needs—and with firsthand experience navigating these systems as parents ourselves—we bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to our work. Over the course of our careers, we have developed extensive knowledge in special education, behavioral support, and therapeutic collaboration, as well as a trusted network of highly qualified professionals and service providers to support families when additional expertise is needed.

At Advocacy in Action, we approach each situation through both a special education advocacy and IEP compliance lens, as well as a behavioral and therapeutic perspective. We recognize that educational, behavioral, and emotional challenges are often interconnected and require a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach.
Our team has decades of experience supporting students with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders, mental health challenges, and complex medical needs. We work to identify practical, individualized solutions while considering every aspect of a student’s educational and behavioral profile.
